Terms of Service
These Terms of Service are set up to keep things running smoothly for all of us and to set proper expectations. Approval for any work performed by Supreme Lawn Care Services LLC (SLCSLLC) will also confirm acceptance of these terms. *subject to change without notice.
Our Promise –Reliability, Professionalism&Communication
We appreciate the opportunity to work with you. Our goal is to exceed your expectations and keep you as a lifelong client!
Contracting with SLCSLLC for Services
-
All approved services are considered ‘evergreen agreements’ –automatically renewing each year.
-
We don’t lock you in with a contract and hold you captive. We want you happy! Our objective is to provide such great service, you’ll never want to leave us!
-
We will provide reliable, quality service at a fair price.
-
If paying through an Invoice on the site from an online booking or services completed arranged by other means, your credit card must be placed on file in your user account prior to scheduling services, and payments will be due no later than 7 days after service, unless other arrangements have been made with management
-
If you are moving or are unhappy with us for any reason, please let us know, so that we can update your file or make efforts to fix any issues with service. 2 week’s notice for cancellation of services is requested. Please direct any concerns directly to management via phone, email or text (rather than to our crew members on site), as we need to be made aware of any issues and will handle them with our team, as needed.
Scheduling
-
We schedule all work Mon-Sat – and typically do not schedule work on Sundays or holidays – but our schedule may get stretched due to weather conditions out of our control.
-
In the case of inclement weather forecasts or weather delays, we may come a day early or be delayed, but we will get back on our normal schedule the following week – even if it’s just a few days between mowing services. This is necessary to maintain quality and consistent lawn maintenance service to all our valued clients on a regular basis.)
-
-
You may skip your lawn mowing service up to 3 times during the season at no charge and without losing your spot on our schedule. Simply call or text us at 219-237-9482, or contact us through this site with your request to delay or skip a service, and we’ll do our best to work around it.
-
Please give us at least 48 hours notice to remove your property from our schedule. Same day requests may not be seen in time – and due to working around weather forecasts, we may come early, so as much notice as you can give is helpful.
-
In case of yard/house projects, moving trucks, construction blocking street, fallen trees, or drought conditions, etc. that could interfere with your service, please be sure to let us know as soon as possible
-
-
Lawn care services, and cleanups will begin as soon as weather allows (usually mid-March), but can be requested at any time during the season.
-
Services will begin late March or early April – and will continue thru November or early December.
-
Leaf cleanups will typically begin mid-October and go thru sometime in November or December depending on weather conditions. Fall & Spring Leaf Cleanups are charged at a nominal rate for the extra time it takes to complete them. This is usually 2.5 - 4 times the weekly rate for regular weekly lawn maintenance. So if your weekly service rate is $65.00, a leaf cleanup would start at $162.50 and go up accordingly to how many trees and leaves are on the property.
-
We are generally closed from mid-November/December thru late March or early April, but with mild temperatures and lack of snow, we may offer work to keep guys busy thru the winter if a client needs services.
Prior to Our Arrival for Your Scheduled Services
-
Be sure to give us a key or code to gain access thru any locked gates.
-
All miscellaneous items including trash, doggy piles, toys, furniture, hoses, large sticks, etc. must be picked up from the lawn before your scheduled service.
-
Please make sure your irrigation heads are working properly and not sticking up – as they could get hit with a mower blade, etc. Also make sure that any underground drain covers are secured properly so they're not picked up & hit with the mower blades, etc.
-
When mowing we get close to tree trunks to try and maintain an uniform mowing height for the most aesthetic look when we're finished mowing. Some times tree trunks may be slightly scraped by our mower decks due to uneven land around the tree trunk. We are not responsible for any damage to tree trunks being scraped due to uneven land around the tree trunks. It is the responsibility of the property owner to ensure that all areas around trees are as even and level as nature will allow.
-
We cannot be held liable for damage caused by hitting items we can’t see, or anything not secured properly.
Weekly Lawn Maintenance Clients
-
You can expect us to arrive every week for your lawn service. We will do our best to come on the same day every week, but we may come a day early or late depending on weather, forecasts and holidays.

-
Your lawn will have a nice, manicured and professional look when we are finished.
-
We will not edge the walks and drive every week, but we’ll keep it maintained all season long.
-
Bi-weekly lawn maintenance services are not offered – but in the fall when growth slows dramatically, we allow a bi-weekly schedule to keep lawn maintained.
-
If we have to spend more time servicing the lawn due to excessive growth or neglect, we will need to charge for extra time and labor (usually at least 1-2 times the normal rate).
-
Our crew will be well-groomed in appearance and be courteous, respectful and professional at all times.
-
Deposits & Extra Charges
-
Fuel Surcharge (Lawn Care Service Clients)
-
In the event that fuel costs increase (above $3/gallon), we will be assessing a fuel surcharge for weekly lawn maintenance rates. This will be an additional charge shown as a separate line item on your invoice. To simplify billing, this may be assessed on a weekly or monthly basis – depending on frequency required.
-
Anticipated surcharges are as follows: If fuel reaches $3.00/gallon, we’ll add a surcharge of 8%; for each additional $.50 increase in fuel cost/gallon, we will add an additional 2%.
-
-
Weekly lawn maintenance rates are based on how long it should take to mow once, trim, edge and blow – which is typically $1/minute. For times the lawn requires 2 or more cuts due to excessive growth, we must charge, as needed, for the extra time required.
-
If a skip-request isn’t made 48 hours in advance, and we show up but can’t provide your service, we will need to charge a trip charge of $30.
-
There will be an additional charge due for extra clean up needed if we step in or run our equipment thru ‘doggy piles’ ($10) or have to pick up or move toys, sticks, furniture etc. ($1/min). If we are behind schedule, we may just go around said items.
-
There will be a $35 fee for NSF advanced payments via check and a $10 fee for declined credit card transactions, as well as a $10 per month late fee added to each past due invoice. Services will be paused until account is brought current and valid cc is on file.
-
For larger jobs, we require a 50% deposit prior to service unless other arraignments have been made.
-
Services completed by SLCSLLC that are not paid for in a timely manner by the customer, leaves us with many different legal options as to how we collect what SLCSLLC is owed for all past due invoices and late fees. We will use every legal option available to us in order to collect payment from you. This may include, but is not limited to Small Claims Court Judgments followed with a property lien. You, the customer will be responsible for all attorney fees, court costs, and any other expenses incurred (lost revenue, etc.) due to you non-payment, because SSLCLLC has to be in court. We also sell off our past due customers debt to collection agencies, and then they collect whatever they can from you in addition to it going on your credit report. So we appreciate prompt payment to avoid all of the stuff mentioned above, and to keep things running smoothly
Precautions to Take Prior to Services Affecting Underground
-
For other projects that we don't do, but may be done by another company you have hired/contracted that require digging (mulch installations, burying of downspouts/drainage pipes, trenching, aerations, etc,) we suggest you call 811to mark utilities and also mark all invisible fences, cables and irrigation lines / heads, etc. These should be buried 6″ or more below the surface, but marked prior to service, we can do our best to avoid them.
-
We suggest you mark them with spray paint, flags or similar
-
We are not responsible for damage to items underground
